Kasina firmware update version 1.12

I am running windows 8.1 and am trying to update my kasina firmware from 1.11 to 1.12.
When I put the Kasina in the update mode, I am unable to locate a zip archive on my computer that supposedly contains the updated firmware file. When I updated to 1.11, I downloaded the file from a link that was posted on the MindPlace site. Is there a similar link posted for the 1.12 update or steps I can take to find the file? A friend just received A new Kasina that came with the 1.12 FW already installed.

These releases will coincide with the new Kasina editor update. There are small internal changes to language options for Russian. Also some internal tweaking of device and firmware update names. The joint release is due to these changes to make it easier to update, especially for Mac users.
New factory runs have this firmware so no update is required.

So when do the rest of us get this update? Does not sound like most of us non-mac users are missing much with this update.
