Go Back to Sleep
Go Back to Sleep is a session for the MindPlace Procyon AVS. It includes an accompaniment mp3 audio file generated from Mind Workstation with underwater elements and low pass filtered white noise. You may choose to use the audio file or not. It is here: Go Back to Sleep Soundtrack. If you do, then just load it in your player and trigger it at the same time you start the session.
Go Back to Sleep was designed for people who wake up then have trouble getting back to sleep. It starts with gentle entrainment in the theta range with brief flickers of alpha. It ramps quickly down into delta range to put you to sleep.
The colors are very subdued blues and greens. They should be comfortable for light sensitive night eyes. I also include slight bits of a 'sleep tunnel' type of effect where slow shifts of low intensity hues cycle to create a transitions. In use, I prefer this to flicker as it gives a sense of moving into the realm of sleep.
I hope that you enjoy this file and that it will prove of benefit to you. As always, comments are encouraged and welcomed.
This session was created by Scott Hendrickson - Neuroasis upon request of Marisa.
Enjoy the ride!

Re: Go Back to Sleep
Let me know if this session works well for you. I hope you don't need it often though :)

Re: Go Back to Sleep
Hey Scott,
It isn't for me, it's for a number of people who I've come across who have problems with sleep, especially getting back to sleep.
This makes your program even more valuable as I'm sure it will help so many people.
I will be trying it though ... . Having surgery in a couple of weeks and will probably really need it then!

Re: Go Back to Sleep
I often have trouble because of my meds and the AVS has been super helpful. I'll give this one a go for a while and report back :) I'm all kitted out with the software I need to do some sessions of my own now! :-) Oooooh you guys are going to get sooo fed up of my questions... lol Seriously though.. Once I've had a chance to properly study my software I'll be posting some sessions finally! Cool eh? I've used the AVS for so long now, it's really nice to be able to get more involved with the whole thing :-)
