Background noise when the device is ON
Greetings, just got a brand new Proteus.
There is a background noise coming from the headphones when the device is ON, it stays when a session is played and until the device is turned OFF. To me it shouldn't be there. I think that it's due to a poor quality electronic component or poor quality circuitboard/soldering.
Re: Background noise when the device is ON
Hello;
It's not a problem and there's a simple solution.
Re: Background noise when the device is ON
I read the thread you linked to and I don't see any bottom button. I see 3 buttons on the front and none turn off the LCD panel. Plus, as I said the noise doesn't come from the LCD panel.
Re: Background noise when the device is ON
Just press the bottom (or 3rd) button a few times, it WILL turn off the LED display.
Re: Background noise when the device is ON
All right. But there's a trick. It only turns off the display when a session is playing. And I noticed something, the first time you press it it displays another number and the noise has already gone, no need to press a second time to turn off the display. This to me indicates that the issue isn't caused by the display.
Re: Background noise when the device is ON
I'm glad you've found another solution. The decimal points flashing on the LED display can cause noise which can be eliminated by pressing the bottom button.
The first press will show the remaining time in the session, without the flashing decimal points, a 2nd press will blank the display completely.
